Client: AFC Ajax

Mission: Matchday Challenge.

In 2020, AFC Ajax launched an open call for graphic designers around the world: Mission Matchday. The challenge was to create bold and inspiring visuals to support the team in their Champions League clash against Liverpool FC.

I took on the mission by designing an A2 poster that combined Ajax’s strong identity with a modern, creative look. The goal was to deliver a piece that not only showed support for the team but also reflected the connection between art and football — a central theme of the contest, with designs being showcased from social media to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

This project was a unique opportunity to mix my passion for football with graphic design, pushing me to create a striking visual that celebrated Ajax and the spirit of the game.
